Swapzy
AI face-swap web app · built 2025–2026 · retired October 2026

- React / Vite front end on S3 + CloudFront.
- Python / FastAPI API on EC2, behind CloudFront with AWS WAF (rate limits, managed rules, CAPTCHA on abuse-prone forms).
- Fully asynchronous job pipeline: S3 upload events → SQS → GPU workers running FaceFusion, with a dead-letter queue and idempotent job handling.
- GPU worker fleet on EC2 Auto Scaling that scaled to zero when idle and woke on queue depth.
- PostgreSQL, Cognito sign-in, Stripe payments, and CloudWatch alarms plus cost guardrails, all defined in AWS CDK.
